Application Situation
A new HT crude oil transfer pipeline is being installed at an oilfield in Saudi Arabia. Belzona 1391S has been specified for the protection of 12 newly fabricated scraper traps, following a process vessels lining spec for the same customer.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet VPF-2 using spin spray application equipment.

Belzona 1391S offers excellent corrosion protection and can be easily applied by spray. 12 scraper traps have been protected with a Belzona coating in 2017 at a facility in the UK, with further applications continued in 2018 as the new scraper traps get fabricated.
Recently, Belzona has perfected the design of the spin spray equipment parts. These parts can be inexpensively fabricated locally.
